On the 29th May we travelled to the Business Design Centre in London to visit 'Make It British'. As the majority of fashion manufacturing is off-shored overseas, Make it British was establish by Kate Hills in 2014 with a mission to help save British manufacturing.
Kate started Make it British as a blog in April 2011 and has since built the trade show to allow designers to visit and discover British Artisans who can manufacture their products.
The short video below shows our day at Make It British Live!
We heard from numerous different speakers including Gieves and Hawkes managing director, Nick Keyte (pictured above) and Senior Production manager at Burberry, Hareesh Kallambella.
