The first episode of this series begins with our home village based in Cheshire West, Willaston.
A brief background of the village
Despite living here for nearly 9 years, I realised I'd neglected the history and beauty of the village I lived in.
I think since the pandemic began, with being stuck at home more, you start to appreciate your surroundings and take note of things you may previously have missed.

During the lockdown, we spent some of our spare time exploring the village we were based in and soon realised the history behind this place.

The name Willaston originates from the word Wilvaston, the hundred
